Bridge maintenance works on the Mitchell Highway between Nevertire and Nyngan

Work will be carried out from Tuesday, July 7 between 6am and 6pm Monday-to-Friday for up to three weeks, weather permitting.

Road users are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Mitchell Highway for essential maintenance work on various bridges between Nevertire and Nyngan.

Single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists. A reduced speed limit of 60 km/h will be in place outside of work hours.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and allow an additional five minutes of extra travel time.
