Jameson shines at showjumping showcase
Nyngan's Jameson Bush has delivered an outstanding performance at the Showcase of Showjumping.

Nyngan’s Jameson Bush has delivered an outstanding performance at the prestigious Showcase of Showjumping in Sydney, competing against some of the nation’s top junior riders.
Over four days of competition in the highly competitive junior 18-and-under 125cm class, Jameson rode Macleay Corella (‘Connie’) and Ballinagore Maxime (‘Maxie’), producing consistent results which underlined his growing reputation in the sport.
Both horses impressed early, each securing top-10 finishes in the opening qualifier and setting the tone for a strong campaign. Macleay Corella continued her excellent form in the second qualifier, placing fifth and securing third overall in the junior final.
Jameson’s partnership with Maxie is still relatively new, but the pair showed promising signs with a series of composed and competitive rounds.
To cap off a successful competition, Jameson was awarded the ‘Judges Award’, recognising his politeness, sportsmanship and horsemanship, as well as the way he conducted himself both in and out of the arena.
Jameson will now take his campaign interstate, with plans to compete in upcoming junior championships. His next appearance is scheduled for the Caboolture World Cup in June.
